About the Author
My name is Aashima (AK) Ratti and I am a lifelong learner and world traveler. I wrote my first book, My Travel Alphabet, to encourage curiosity between generations about the magical world we live in.
Most of the photos and themes in the book are drawn from my own experiences. As I travelled, I often found myself saying "this can't be real," or, "this looks like something out of a storybook." And I realized that there are so many seemingly-magical places on Earth worth sharing with children and adults alike.
Originally a native New Yorker, I escaped the cold and now live in Florida with my loving husband. I work full time in the travel industry and still sneak away to explore new foods and destinations whenever I get the chance.
I care deeply about leaving a positive impact on earth, and have partnered with One Tree Planted to offset the paper production associated with publishing by donating a portion of my proceeds toward the planting of trees.

Lovely book introducing littles to the wonders of the world. My 12 month old was mesmerized by the colorful illustrations. I hope one day we'll visit these places IRL. Until then, My Travel Alphabet will continue to inspire!

My Travel Alphabet is a wonderful book for kids filled with some amazing illustrations. My nephew loves exploring all the pages and scenes. It sits at the front of his bookshelf and he picks it out often! Highly recommend!

My son connected with MTA right away and now brings it to me from his bookshelf all the time! His favorite pages are the whales blowing bubbles and the monarch butterflies. The writing is simple and yet perfectly engaging for a toddler. And while my son got lost in the beautiful illustrations, I was adding to my travel bucket list!
I got this book for my granddaughter. She is only a month old and I can not Waite to read to her. There are few places even I would love to travel as I liked all the pictures.👌
This is a beautiful book, and unlike most of what I read repetitively with my toddler, I don't get tired of it. The illustrations are gorgeous, the rhyming is great, and I love getting to introduce the wider world and everyone in it. Absolutely worth a purchase, and would make a great gift.
